As a father—and a good one, I might add—we are expected to tag along to the kids' movies. This weekend was no different: the movie theater, popcorn, and Icees. But paternal guides always know the end result: smiles, laughs, and memories made. It's our sacred duty, and we take it seriously, even if we occasionally have to do so with a fake smile.

However, this weekend was different.

*Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie* was the real thing. Not only is it worth seeing, but it's short! Seriously, my kid and I enjoyed the comic relief throughout practically every scene.

What stood out the most—and should be something for Marvel to chew over (pun intended)—is the possibility of a *Paw Patrol* crossover with *Avengers: Doomsday*. Part II, obviously, at this point.

Have you ever realized how closely Ryder resembles Tony Stark?

It was eerie to watch, and it may have contributed more than a little to this weekend's entertainment.

**Spoiler Alert:** This may ruin some of your moviegoing experience.

Before the movie, the family resemblance had always crossed my mind. But this weekend left no doubt: Ryder should be Tony Stark's son—or, at the very least, his nephew. Perhaps the son of a long-lost sister Tony never knew existed.

Anyway, here are the correlations.

### Tower Home Bases

The movie even established a mobile home base that had to outdo the island itself. Stark and Ryder share the same pathological need to visually outshine everyone around them. Not to mention that all of the tower iterations look similar to Stark Tower.

### Every New Movie Involves a New Suit

Without exception, Ryder rolls out a new, Iron Man-looking Marshall suit before stepping onto the island.

Coincidence?

I think not.

### Every Mutt Has Different Capabilities

Every member of the team has different capabilities and brings a unique benefit to the mission.

It was hard not to draw a parallel to that epic *Iron Man 3* battle involving Stark's collection of suits. Watching Ryder's team deploy for battle every time felt remarkably similar.

### Same Hair

Ryder's newest look is uncanny.

The hair. The attitude. The confidence.

It's practically Stark's signature trademark.

### Speed of Development and Technology

And then, to really cement Ryder's relationship to Iron Man, there's the technology.

Ryder can weld, program, design, and iterate a **finished mechanical prototype overnight**.

What???

Yes.

Marshall's destroyed truck somehow appears beyond repair, only to emerge shiny and new the next day. And somehow, Ryder still has enough time to prototype an entirely new Tyrannosaurus-Rex technology.

Tony Stark's nephew.

It's that simple.

## COA: The Grown-Up Paw Patrol Must Appear in *Doomsday Part II*

A grown-up *Paw Patrol* unit should appear as a *Doomsday* crossover cameo.

Not one that could appear.

**One that should. Must.**

And if He-Man can have a talking Battle Cat, why not let Doctor Strange give the grown-up beasts of war the ability to talk as well?

Imagine it.

The Avengers are losing. The multiverse is collapsing. Doctor Doom has outmaneuvered everyone.

Then Ryder walks in.

Except he's grown up.

His team is grown up.

And suddenly, Doom isn't dealing with a pack of puppies anymore.

He's dealing with a highly advanced, multiversal, technologically equipped canine strike force.

How awesome would it be to see Doctor Doom finally outsmarted by his grown-up, multiversal nephew?

**The Muttiverse that must be!!!**
