Enemy within the Gates: Mordorian Disillusionment

Enemy within the Gates: Mordorian Disillusionment

History repeats itself. There's no doubt about that. Failure to be a student of history will leave its mark upon the ignorant. Such is the story unfolding at the DNC today.

Background:

  • Over the past 19 months, the DNC leadership has furiously targeted Trump's administration. The "No Kings" rallies have sparked constant support from the far left and has persisted for the entirety of Trump's second term.
  • 2 Kings 8:7: The king of Samaria (Ben-Hadad) is ill and sends his servant, Hazael, to ask word from the man of God (Elisha). Though the king will recover from his sickness, Elisha tells Hazael that he will be the next king. So, Ben-Hadad recovers just in time for Hazael to kill him.
  • The DNC establishment, specifically Jeffries, suffered unprecedented loss in NYC in 2025 to Mamdani. Although Jeffries threw all of his political clout against Mamdani, the people of New York refused established order in favor of a Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) ideology.

Current Affairs:

  • Within the last two weeks, Trump's greatest opponents are reconciling a temporary word-of-mouth treaty (off the books). Both Schumer and Warren, some of the biggest supporters of the "No Kings" rally, have expressed favor to the current WH administration. Their actions come not even six weeks after being stripped of intangible power and loss from their sponsored candidates' primaries. It is also important to note, that both Carville and the Clintons have been huge targets for the DSA over the past fix months. Both represent major interest holders of the DNC.
  • Last weekend, former Governor Youngkin also expressed similar beliefs of a transient alliance between the DNC establishment and the Republicans.

What caused the establishment's dilemma?

Such as with Hazael, the funded "No Kings" rallies actually bolstered a network for DSA. These events organized the people who aligned with these agendas, created a decentralized financial network that resists institutions by default, and gave news coverage to upcoming, new influencers (because the establishment refused to be publicly associated). Since the DNC's Chicago meeting in December 2024, the party has committed itself to undermining status quo rules of law. Subsequently, these meeting priorities cemented the position the DNC is currently in today.

  • COA: Due to the immense financial backing, anonymous group coherence, and attractiveness of bringing down the "system," the DNC senior leadership is highly likely to be on the chopping block this November. Candidate losses to DSA future leaders have increased the probability that the party will change considerably. The parallels of Hazael's revolution cannot be understated. Without external intervention, the DNC has given their servants the very tools needed to overthrow democratic order. Never in my lifetime could one imagine Hilary Clinton supporting, let alone, implementing Trump policy. But as stated, and predicted later, such is necessary for the DNC to remain intact.

What is likely to happen moving forward?

History is the primary driver for this article, so let's go back five years. At that time, the DNC establishment was crushing the Republicans at every turn. Some call it the COVID-era or the DEI-era, but Sigcryptal will call it the RINO-era. During such affairs, a large number of the RNC realized that they needed to broker deals with the DNC to survive. The inherent damage done to the RNC, let alone the country, is still echoing. Though the current administration has fixed such mal-aligned politicians, Trump only solidified this within the last seven weeks. Yes, it took a much larger percentage of his second term than it should have. This was only accomplished through actualized perception of control. Not unlike the DSA's actualized influence over the left.

  • COA: There is an institutional supercycle occurring, as referenced by some as the pendulum of influence. However, instead of the RNC bending on their beliefs to withstand an onslaught that can't be defended by one's own will, the DNC is now on the receiving end. The irony stems from the fact that the DNC could've outlasted Trump's second term. Instead, the left establishment set up and funded their own Hazael. As with the RNC in 2021, several senior leaders within the DNC upper ranks will likely come to terms with Republicans over the next six months, and only over that time.
  • COA: For instance, the RNC tried to pass the SAVE Act without any backing or success within the last month. Due to failures to consolidate support, both Johnson and Thune decided to hold off until mid-September. With the change in rhetoric from the left establishment, there is a moderate likelihood that the Republicans will be able to pass such an act if brokered correctly.

Overall COA:

  • Finally, let's end with the one story to rule them all: LOTR. The infamous 2003 movie, Return of the King, had an epic battle at the gates of Mordor. These were a small group of well-funded and armed warriors taking on the impossible. Without the help of the eagles, their quest would've failed. Such is analogous to the situation that the DNC put themselves in. To refuse temporary help from the RNC will very likely lead to a failed conquest against their DSA opponents. In this case, the cards are stacked against the DNC. They need to reach out or let DSA destroy everything they hold dear.
